Beyond the Halls (Old)

Had an idea for a story, so I went with it.

It's a story about a two guys in high school, Clifford and Samuel.
Sam is often bullied for being scrawny, pale, gay, and just different in general.
Cliff is one of the popular jocks who often joins his friends in picking on Sam. Unknown to his friends, Cliff is gay as well.

When the two boys start to get to know each other, they realize how much in common they have.
Eventually they even start to develop feelings for each other.

But with Cliff being in the closet, they are forced to keep their feelings a secret.
As Sam is continued to be bullied by the other jocks, Cliff finds himself in a difficult spot: 
Should he stand up for his friend and boyfriend, or will that only make matters worse?
Should he stay quiet about his sexuality, will Sam understand?

More importantly, will the two boys find a stable relationship with one another, or will the pressure of high school cause one of them to break?
